A drilling machine capable of positioning guide marks for the exposure of circuit patterns and forming through-holes of multilayer PCBs. It compensates the difference between the designed and actual mark positions in X and Y directions to accurately drill the points which have minimum difference from the designed positions.
How to position guide marks
MMX-888Z uses X-rays to detect two guide mark positions on multilayer PCBs, and compensates the difference between the designed and actual mark positions in X and Y directions to accurately drill the points which have minimum difference from the designed positions. It is also equipped with two units of X-ray drilling mechanisms, enabling simultaneous high speed drilling of two spindles. The drilled PCBs are discharged to the rear side automatically.
MMX-888ZT has two additional spindles for drills with different diameters, which is a total of four spindles. This twin-spindle system enables drilling for two different-sized guide holes in the same manufacturing process without changing the drills.
Both MMX-888Z and MMX-888ZT are adaptable to an automated manufacturing line.
